Louise is well-known for her part in "Gilligan's Island" as the fiery redhead Ginger Grant. Louise's mom was a renowned fashion model, while her father (Joseph Blacker) was the owner and operator of a candy store with a shop located in Brooklyn. He was later employed as an accountant. The name "Louise" was apparently given by Tina during her senior year at high school. Tina had told one of her drama instructors that she did not have a middle initial and that she was the only person she knew with no middle name. Louise was recommended by her drama teacher.
